Children are a gift from God
CHILDREN ARE A GIFT FROM GOD Children were often seen as a burden by many families — but is that really true? That is something we should truly ponder. According to the Bible, “... children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” Psalm 127:3 I remembered a story I heard just a few days ago. While a preacher was preachin g in church, Jesus revealed something to him during the service the Almighty reveals that a woman in the congregation was crying because her child was born with a disability. G od spoke gently to that person, saying: “That child is not just yours but that child is Mine. You do what you can, and I will take care of the rest.” This powerful scenario reminds us that children are not a burden. God is good to both the poor and the rich.
